Closing old open sales orders
You can use the subsequent program to close all the Open Sales Orders which are closed essentially but not in the SAP System because there was a difference in the early quantity and the quantity delivered. Please be aware that the program takes the series of sales orders and closes them through changing the ordered quantity to the delivered quantity through altering the scheduling line agreement data with the sales order data.
Sales orders and purchase orders do not affect your GL, AP, or AR balances. If you are following inventory, closing the SO's and PO's will give you a better picture of inventory that is essentially available, since they will no longer show up as pending and on order.
The Sales Order must not affect the Balance sheet reports if they are open or closed.
If you click Closed on the open SO the 'open' items should automatically be closed.
